Saturday was a day of travel…
If you can call being stuck in a car for 10+ hours traveling a distance that should only take about 6. The first 60 miles from Asiandale Virginia to Fredericksburg took 2.5 hours. I thought it would get better but we encountered traffic going west on route 64, then more traffic before Norfolk entering the tunnel prior to the city. It was clear travel for about an hour hut the closer we got to the Outer Banks the heavier the traffic got.
We reached the real estate office at 8:30 pm to pick up the keys. I picked up my parents at 10:20 am. Yeah the day pretty much sucked.
A quick note to all the bad fucking drivers out there…
The left lane is for people who are driving faster and will end up making five lane changes because slow fuckers like you don't realize that, the farthest right lane is for senior citizens, ultra conservative republican, communist, cow fuckers, and slow drivers like you who create gridlock in ever aspect of the word.
Thank you this is the end of your friendly commentary.
A quick note I realized today how much weight I have lost because I took a walk on the beach and it was doable. When I would go on the beach hikes in Malibu, every step I took was labored, regardless of where I would step my feet would sink into the sand.
I can't believe how easily I walked across the beach. Tomorrow morning I might even go for a run.
🙂
oh yeah, forgot to mention that you should never travel to/from the outer banks on a weekend. That is when all the weekly rentals turn. Such a nightmare!
