Act Yourself Into Changing
Excerpt From: Your Road Map for Success
Action to Take Today: Act your way into feeling positive today as you face adversity.
Synopsis:
In today’s entry Maxwell discusses the connection between attitudes and behavior. To some degree Maxwell advocates a practical application of the colloquialism “Act as if”. If you desire to be something start acting the part. The way to change your mindset is through your actions. Don’t wait for the emotion or attitude to chance you, make an effort to create the momentum towards change. He provides the following short poem:
An act of your will
Will lead you to action;
And your positive action
Will lead to a positive attitude!
According to Maxwell the best way to create a change in your attitude is to alter your behavior.
