If I add this to early entries of the Maxwell Daily Reader, an underlying principle of leadership for John Maxwell is the betterment of others. This entry parallels the earlier entries The Law of Connection, The 30-second Rule, and Be Impressed, Not Impressive. Essentially to the ability to elevate others is to improve yourself. When this internal progress occurs it facilities the ability to motivate people.
I am starting to understand Maxwell’s form of Leadership is to push from behind, and not dictate from the front. I’m not sure if I completely agree with Maxwell; however, I am going to try his recommendations on developing people.
